People come with different problems, but these are a few examples:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for depression or anxiety

  • Low confidence or self esteem

  • Bereavement

  • Trauma 

  • Longer term or exploratory work because of deeper or longstanding issues, for example in sustaining relationships or controlling emotions

  • Some people come because they are struggling in life and want to get some help in understanding themselves and moving forward

Whatever the issue, I will work with you to identify what the concerns are, what you want to get from therapy and what steps we need to take to do this. Sometimes this is a short course of CBT, sometimes it will be a longer more exploratory therapy. During our first meeting we can decide together what type of therapy will suit you best.
