What to expect
If you decide to get in touch, after an initial call we would usually meet for one or two sessions to get to know one another and consider what type of therapy might suit you. As your therapist I will take a calm and non-judgemental approach, helping you to consider how your concerns may have started and what seems to be preventing you from moving forward.
As we progress I will gently challenge you, encouraging you to see things from different perspectives and learn new skills that will enable you to move forward in life. Therapy can be interesting and rewarding but it can also be challenging or painful. I will pay close attention to how you are finding the process and will adjust the pace and depth to suit your needs. I encourage everyone to come in person.
